Decades later, I am still loving Baltimore. Like all worthwhile relationships, there are celebrations and challenges, triumphs and failures. This city has heart, personality, beauty, tenacity and grit. I am proud to be one of the many who enjoy the culture, the people, the sports, the food, the art, the communities, the farmers markets, the neighborhoods, the workers that are Baltimore.

We visited Baltimore by boat last spring and I fell in love with it! The museums are world class, the waterfront is scenic, and walkable, the restaurants are high quality, and the people are helpful and friendly! We stayed longer than we had planned because we were having such a great time!

We have lived in Baltimore for two years and love it. We are proud to call Baltimore home, having lived in 7 major cities on both coasts. While acknowledging Baltimore’s problems, we are the first to evangelize how wonderful the city is, how interesting its history is, and how great its people are.

We choose Baltimore! Between us we have been on this planet over 145 years and we choose to live in Baltimore moving here only 10 years ago. The city has a lot to offer. Yes, it has its share of problems but it is also vibrant, diverse and offers us lots of activities along with a great location. We have been Marylanders since the 1980’s and have lived in three different counties, but we CHOOSE Baltimore.

Baltimore has been my home all of my life. The negative descriptions of Baltimore, past and present, represent a small area of our general footprint. We have our challenges just like any other major city. But more often than not, we come together to address those challenges and better still, we celebrate together all that Baltimore has to offer. Great neighborhoods, great parks, great restaurants and great people. Look around Baltimore and you will see a microcosm of America.

I just want to send out my love to Baltimore!! My mother’s side of my family are all very proud to be born and raised in Baltimore!!!! From the time I was a child until now many great times of family fellowship, holidays, summer vacations were spent in Baltimore. My grandmother and uncle were true die hard fans of the Baltimore Ravens, and the Baltimore Orioles!! To this day we are a Ravens household; I enjoy going to football games to see the Ravens play!! I attended Coppin University!! I love my Baltimore crab cakes, The Inner Harbor, and enjoy going to The Horseshoe Casino. Baltimore has so many loving memories of fun and family for me and my children and it will always be loved! No matter where I travel Baltimore always feels like home to me. I love, love, love Baltimore!!! ❤❤❤❤
